This project intends to collect and trace Polish imigrants in United States of America that left Galicia (Austria-Hungary) at the end of 19th or the beginning of 20th Century and which were described in manifests of Ellis Island. My name is Maciej Róg, my great grandparents come from Dęba, Krzątka and Huta in the West Galicia, nowadays Poland. Many of their relatives left their homes and families and emigrated to the U.S. The PGAP intends to find all the people that emigrated there from the places where lived my ancestors and to find their descendants.
